Korean BBQ Restaurant Lease

A Korean BBQ Restaurant has leased 8,350 square feet at a grocery-anchored shopping center in Bergen County, in a newly announced deal by Midtown Commercial Realty.

The brokerage firm said the operator will occupy the space at the Acme Center at 116 Franklin Turnpike in Mahwah. Midtown Commercial Realty Managing Director Etan Tammam and CBRE Executive Vice President Rick Weinberg represented the landlord while Kelly Lee of Midtown's Darmanin Group represented the tenant.

“This existing restaurant space is finally being utilized the way it should be, it was a former hibachi restaurant so much of the infrastructure can be utilized with the new tenant"" Weinberg and Tammam said in a joint statement. “Albertsons just renewed their ground lease at the property so we look forward to a flurry of new activity.""
